Absolutely, I have taught many children and young people over the years. My lessons can be specially tailored for young people, covering material in a fun and exciting way encouraging children to simply love to sing. You are more than welcome to sit in during our lessons or indeed take part. To find out more don't hesitate to email me.

I certainly do. The majority of my students start off as people who dream about singing but are often too shy to sing in front of their friends. I work carefully to help build up my students' confidence and help them to develop a voice that they can be proud of.

I teach all my singing lessons at my music studio located in central Belfast. My studio is at Apollo Arts Theatre, 16b Castlereagh Road, Belfast, BT5 5FP - click on the map below to find my location on Google maps. The studio is the perfect place to learn to sing, with a calm, relaxed atmosphere and great piano to sing along with.

The choice is completely up to you. I have lots of music for songs covering all genres here in the studio but you are more than welcome to bring along music that you want to learn to sing. I will also recommend songs to develop your vocal range and technique.

Contrary to popular belief you can certainly learn to sing, while our bodies form the sound and tone we produce no one is born a naturally amazing singer. It is something that vocalists develop over time and with practice. Look at your favourite pop singer and you will probably find that they started singing when they were very young, developing their voice so by the time they were a young adult it was powerful and impressive, making it seem that they have always had a great voice. The truth is there were hours of practice behind forming that voice.

Yes, I love to teach. It inspires me to see a person's unique voice, strengths and style shine through. Normally slight changes are needed to be introduced to achieve huge benefits.

Please note that Singing Lessons Belfast operates a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of the arranged time the student will be charged the full price of the lesson. Should you need to cancel a lesson please contact me at your earliest opportunity to re-arrange.
